Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping

On September 22nd 2020, President Trump issued an executive order to cease any Diversity and Inclusion training that includes what it defines as “divisive concepts.

At Mind Gym, we see promoting race and sex stereotyping and scapegoating as the opposite of creating inclusive and diverse workplaces.

Our programs are designed to foster more inclusive workplaces and environments.  We deliver sessions that focus on what unites us rather than what divides.

The scientific research indicates that we are all susceptible to bias and stereotyping, regardless of race and gender.

To combat this, we help everyone understand what makes each individual unique, and how this needs to be an important aspect of creating a workplace that also fosters a strong sense of belonging.

We achieve this through our research-based approach and what we define as the four cornerstones of building an inclusive environment.  The results are a more inclusive, innovative, and productive workforce.

As a response to the order, we have conducted a thorough review of all our materials.  We are fully compliant with the executive order. We work in the best interest of our clients and our aligned mission to help people think and work in more productive ways.
