MindGym (AIM: MIND) has appointed Crystal Metcalfe to the new role of EMEA Managing Director, tasking her with leading the next phase of growth and development for the business in EMEA.
Formerly a Regional Vice President at RGP, Crystal is an expert in leading and nurturing large teams located across multiple territories, all while driving commercial growth and cultural transformation for clients.
Joining June 6th, Crystal will help take MindGym’s EMEA operation from strength to strength following the company’s digital transformation – leading a large commercial team as MindGym helps clients navigate a changing post-pandemic landscape.
She will also be responsible for growing MindGym’s evolving digital offering in EMEA – bringing new pioneering products like MindGym’s precision coaching platform Performa to the heart of clients’ people strategies and helping them future-proof their human capital.
MindGym* has emerged as strong as ever from the pandemic, and recently reported revenues were up 25% vs 2021, and up 5% vs pre-pandemic levels (FY20). The company’s digital revenues grew by 156% during the pandemic (vs FY20), accounting for 77% of 2022 revenues. (*Numbers reflect trading update on 25th April 2022.)
Building on this growth, Crystal will be responsible for growing MindGym’s EMEA teams, bringing in exceptional new talent to support the company’s digital evolution as well as nurturing and challenging existing talent to realise their own, and MindGym’s, ambitions.
Octavius Black, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at MindGym, said: “Crystal has an incredible track record and reputation, and we’re delighted to be welcoming her to the team. Crystal will play an important role for MindGym: as a strategic partner delivering culture change for our clients; as a spokesperson representing our science-led approach to behaviour change; as a pioneer growing our digital impact in EMEA; and as a leader, developing and growing our teams.”
“MindGym stand out in their field as the original pioneers of behavioural science in the workplace,” said Crystal. “They’ve been doing it for longer than everyone else, with more rigour, personality and a style that is uniquely MindGym. I’m excited to join them and work together towards new heights in this next stage of their growth.”
